Very nice game.
This series was quite enjoyable, definitely had me anticipating when the next stage would come out. The game itself was difficult, but fun. The story was interesting, the music was enjoyable, and the characters and voice acting was pretty good. Boss fights were a lot of fun, though hard, and they all had very good and differing designs. (I have to admit it took me nearly ten deaths on the boss you fight before you get your pistol to realize it was shooting my machine gun bullets back at me when I hit it).
Mizar was a great villain to have as well, and you know you've made a good villain when you have someone playing it and cursing her out every time you fight her, especially the last fight, she just wouldn't give up.
My only compliant is the controls. Having to move while shoot diagonally, got frustrating sometimes, and since the buttons were close together, I found myself occasionally hitting the wrong button and jumping instead of shooting, or switching weapons, or etc.
The graphics weren't superb or anything, but I kind of liked it. Also loved the metroid and megaman feel of the game play. Felt nostalgic in a way.
One thing I have to say is I feel you should have made the challenge modes more noticeable. Usually after I beat the game I wouldn't return to the title screen and instead would navigate to something else. In fact it wasn't until a few hours ago, when I decided to through the game on hard, did I notice the challenge and speedrun modes and that adds so many more aspects to the game. I suppose normal people would have notices the extra modes from the locked items in the extras menu, but I usually forgot about that as well. Oh well, definitely a nice touch though and I'll be looking forward to beating all the stages on hard and in the challenge modes.
Anyway, overall a good game, I can tell a lot of effort went into this and I hope another saga like this might come out in a year or two. Until then I'll be happy with this one.
Good game, a bit short though.
Levels had an interesting design to them and new twists were added to make things interesting. Over all pretty good. My one complaint is it was kind of short. Maybe add a few more features to the game and more levels next time. Maybe even a level editor.
And for those stuck on 16 it really isn't that difficult. Wait for a box to land before turning the conveyor belt and then immediately put it on full blast towards the LEFT wall. It should land on the lower conveyor belt which should be set to the first power towards the right before it lands. Though some shots may miss the majority of the shots should hit the conveyor belt dead on.
I find it sad people seem to have so much trouble beating this. It was difficult but anyone with the normal amount of perseverance should be able to beat it.
Anyway, I loved the graphics, I'm a sucker for old style pixel stuff. The music was great also, and the game itself was entertaining and difficult but not too frustrating (Though I have to say the whole thing with the fans and the butterflies on lvl 9 was hard XD)
Great job, with this game and I hope you make more.
There's a glitch where the retry button doesn't appear sometimes, but then you just have to go to the menu and select the level again.
The game was pretty fun, getting the physics of the game down took a little time, but it was good. Spent an hour or so on this game. Finally got highest score - 840
Good game, maybe add some more game modes to it if you make another.

Simple, easy, and yet amusing. Nice job. My only complaint is the inability to return to the secret room after taking the turtle..it might have just been mt but you might want to check.

It was easy to play once I found a good method on how to use the cannon, jetpack, and gun together. The best method I found was to shoot the cannon at whatever angle you please as close to full as you can, wait til you get low enough so you aren't in space, use jetpack (or missile), and then shoot the turtle constantly to avoid him hitting the ground. Once you run out of ammo you just let the game run it's course. Trying to prevent the turtle from hitting the ground the first few times and slowing down works best, Wait as long as you can before using the gun to shoor him back up as you will prolong time in air and he will reach the same height depending on the power of the gun. My personal best was 533,417.3. Great game, good for a few hours of play.
It isn't too hard for anyone who can use ingenuity and creativity. Like the part where the crab eats the walkway, try jumping over onto the higher platform with the porcupines and then jump over them and the crab on the platforms instead of wasting time trying to kill the crabs and go under the platform and wasting much needed time. The game can get frustrating just like the lost levels used to be >.< Only problem though was that I found the controls a bit choppy and unresponsive at times making the game a bit more difficult than it already was.
This game has a very strange and unique concept. I found it to be very addictive and ended up playing it for two hours.
Fun way to pass time. Good game
The sound loop gets a little annoying after a while though.
